My boy loves music.  Especially in the car, when I am taking him on countless errands, or on road trips.  I didn’t have a lot of CD’s and the ones I had honestly lasted less then 10 minutes.  He got bored with those (as did I!), so when the people at Songs Just for Me contacted BabyElan, I was super excited to review their Songs Just for Me CD.  LET ME TELL YOU, I LOVE THIS CD and SO DOES MY BOY!! Baby Blanket Music {Discount}

If anyone has a child like my second one, then you must certainly understand the necessity of good lullaby music for nap time!  To say we played music in Alex’s nursery is an understatement.  We had music going, mobiles wound, teddy bear hearts beating away, to name a few…  Because of this extreme effort, he was and still is, an awesome napper.  He’s 3 1/2 now & just yesterday napped from 2:00 until his older brother woke him at 5:15.  And yes, he was back in bed, for the night, at 8 pm!

While we had some nice lullaby music for Alex as a baby, I would have much preferred the melodic arrangements that are Baby Blanket Music!  We were provided with a sample of the Baby Elton John CD from Baby Blanket Music, and it is truly just as soothing to my ears as it is to my childrens’.   Listening to it in the car has certainly made for more peaceful & relaxing drives back and forth to school & errands.  And for my littlest guy, Harrison, who hates riding in the car, the Baby Blanket Music {Elton John} CD was a lifesaver on our recent 12 hour drive from NY to NC!

Baby Blanket Music was created by Josh Rutt, a New York teacher, composer & performer, after observing his friend’s babies development & realizing there was room for improvement in the baby music world.  Using well known instruments & common baby sounds, he has taken the music that we’ve all grown to love {Elton John, Billy Joel, John Mayer & Simon and Garfunkel} and arranged it in a way that baby’s can now appreciate as well.

Jonathan Sprout American Heroes CD #3 {GIVEAWAY}
