Nicholas and I love to bake together.  He has been helping me make bread since he was about a 1 1/2.  Nicholas does it all too, cracks the eggs, measures the flour and pours the milk into the mixing bowl.  He even greases the baking pans.  So when we saw Zebra Mix we both were excited   We love to have fun in the kitchen.  He is in charge, I don’t know a kid who doesn’t enjoy being the “boss”.  Zebra Mix understands and incorporates easy cooking steps, a safari baking map full of illustrations, games, puzzles all age appropriate into each steps to make baking super fun and educational.   For Nicholas the best part was being independent and doing almost all of the steps himself!  For me, Zebra Mix is brilliant in having created a quick and easy organic all natural dessert!  How awesome is that!

We received the original Zebra cupcake kit.  Using our map we quickly set up getting all our ingrediant and tools.  Mixing was underway in no time.  Nicholas can’t read yet so the pictures helped Nicholas to understand exactly what was needed in the steps. The cupcakes tasted like brownies, so yummy! One of the best parts of this project was seeing Nicholas give his cupcakes to friends and family and proudly tell them; 1st that he made them all by himself and 2nd that they are organic!   Everyone LOVED receiving the little treat in a  zebra pattern in a cupcake.
