Just when I thought I had tried them all, and I was accepting the fact that my little guy was just not into being a “sling” baby, Baby K’tan comes along with a fabulous carrier that Harrison actually loves! That said, I’ve had several weeks to play around with the sample that I received, and we’ve found SO many practical positions, so the extra fabric isn’t such a big deal after all!

What do “we” love about the Baby K’tan carrier? We love that we can discreetly breastfeed in it! It has come in handy on so many occasions when I’ve needed an extra “hand” to hold Harrison in place {read, 3 year old calls for help from the bathroom} while he is nursing & it has kept me all contained while doing so. We are also big fans of the front, facing out carry. Harrison is a rather “social” guy, and he loves being able to sit right up in front of me & see his world as I carry on about my day.

Tots On the Go

I was sent two fabulous travel items for my family to use during our recent trip to Disneyland! The picture above is of my youngest son Will who is 9 months old. Tots On the Go sent him the Air Play {also pictured}to use on our vacation! This is a great toy that slips over an airplane’s tray table very securely and is covered with toys on both sides. There are peak-a-boo flaps with a mirror and another with a picture album where personal pictures of baby’s favorite people can be inserted! There are also several Velcro toys and balls attached as well. Will looks tired in the picture above but I promise you he had a fabulous time with his Air Play during our four hour flight. I loved that everything was attached so I did not have to pick anything off the floor.

My two year old daughter fell in love with her Trunki as soon as she saw it. While she had fun scooting on it around the house she LOVED being pulled on it through the airport! Being a big girl of 2 {and almost 3} she thinks strollers are for babies but still gets tired of walking sometimes. Her Trunki was a life saver for us. Not only did it provide entertainment for her and an easy trip through the airport for us, it doubled as her carry on. The Trunki fits perfectly under the seats on the plane and has room for all of the important items little gals and guys need to stay busy on long flights!

Snazzy Baby Combo Carrier {GIVEAWAY}

3 in 1…if anything has “3 in 1″ in the product title or description, it’s a must have!! How many times have I said in the past the versatility is key…well… it is!! Especially when it comes to babies and children. If a product only has one purpose, it won’t last long in our house! My youngest is 19 months and a terror on his feet. That being said, I still need to “baby wear” him on certain occasions {“certain occasions” translates to “anywhere public”}. Traditional slings and wraps put a weight limit on baby wearing, or if they don’t, it’s just not comfortable or impossible. I throw my phone and my small wallet in the front pocket of the carrier and we’re good to go, no purse needed!

One of the features I love most {which I have not tried of course since I’m no longer breast feeding}, is that the combo carrier is flexible and convenient enough to breast feed an inward facing baby without taking him/her out of the carrier. That would have come in SOOOO handy on several occasions. I use to sweat my tail off taking the boys in and out of their carriers, feeding them, and trying to shove their small sleeping bodies back in after.
