I can’t believe it, but we’re heading into our 13th week with our newest little family member, Harrison!   His babyhood has been nothing short of near perfect thus far, as he is such a sweet & easy going little one.    And each day, as we watch him grow, we feel truly blessed to have him in our lives.  That said, he is certainly growing!  Though I am sad to see him outgrow his sweet little fluffy newborn cloth diapers, I am excited that he is finally fitting into his fabulous FuzziBunz cloth diapers!

Let me tell you a little bit about FuzziBunz, and what they have done for us in the few short weeks that we’ve been using them…

FuzziBunz Pocket Diapers have been so far, the easiest diapering system we’ve used.  Closely resembling that of the disposable diaper system, it is one diaper, that snaps on, with no extra cover necessary!  With a waterproof outer layer {that comes in 20 gorgeous color choices} & a soft microfleece inner layer that keeps your baby dry & rash-free, this is truly a fabulous cloth diapering option for anyone looking for comfort, convenience and style!   With a snap closure system, rather than velcro, you don’t have to worry about snagging the other laundry, scratching your baby or lint build-up.  And because the absorbent layer is not sewn into the diaper, but stuffed into the hidden pocket, this makes for super quick drying time as well.

We’ve had the opportunity to sample the Perfect Size FuzziBunz as well as the One Size FuzziBunz.  While both diapers get the job done equally, I have to say I prefer the Perfect Size.  Harrison is a tiny little guy, and although the One Size diapers work great for night-time, they just a bit too bulky for him still to wear with his daytime clothes.  That said, the Perfect Size {small, in our case} are just that; perfect!   They snap on easily & they provide a great trim fit.

What have FuzziBunz done for our family you ask?  Well, from the first night that we started him in them, at around 10 weeks, he has been sleeping soundly through the night!  Although this can be attributed to many things, including how we swaddle him & his general good nature, I have to believe that the dryness of his diaper through the night certainly helps!  When he wakes up for his morning feeding at 6:30 am, I actually feed him before changing him.  So figure, all night plus a morning feeding.   After that feeding, I change him & he is literally bone dry!  That inner microfleece liner wicks away every ounce of wetness; it’s really AMAZING!

FuzziBunz has some great accessories to check out as well, including the In and Out Mess Free Diaper Bag, which we also received as a sample.  You don’t even have to touch the mess to wash it! Just throw the diapers in from the top of the bag, and when wash time comes, simply unzip the bottom of the bag right into the washing machine.  Then drop the bag in with the diapers & voila, you’re completely mess-free!
