Snug ORGANICS {GIVEAWAY}

As parents we all want what is best for our children.   Living green has become an ambition of our house hold.   Since having Noah this past May and Nicholas a pre-schooler, recognizing areas we can improve our daily living is constant.  Trying to set the example by living a strong eco-conscious lifestyle is at times confusing, inconvenient and expensive.  But at the end of the day when I see my pre-schooler helping dad take  the recyclables to the curb I know he’s learning and growing with the right example to help make him eco-conscious too.

When Noah was born I got serious about the seriousness of chemicals in his daily life.  Babies sleep away about 60% or more of their day the first several months.  So his bedding and pj’s seemed the natural place to start getting ”green”.  Fortunate for us, he sleeps on an organic cotton matress.   I was thrilled to come in contact with Erin, owner of a small business in Colorado, Snug ORGANICS .” Our philosophy is to provide a pure and healthy product for pristine babies and toddlers and to produce it in an environmentally and socially responsible way.”

Erin sent both of my boys a pair of pj’s.  As soon as I pulled them out of the shipping package I was smiling.  First the Sherpa Sleepers  are footless, which makes my boys immediately approving :-)   Then I held the little sleeper next to my face and smiled some more because the fabric is certified 100% organic cotton sherpa that is fleecy, warm, antimicrobial, breathable and sustainable and it feels wonderful, looks so stinking adorable!  Undoubtedly I knew my little ones would stay comfy all night long. With one quick zipper closure, this sleeper is also perfect for kids who are potty training. Available in sizes for babies and toddlers.

So now I have both of my boys wearing not only super soft snuggly pj’s but they are chemical -free and organic.  PERFECT SLEEPWEAR :-)   Not to mention, when you see your child wearing these adorable pj’s you just want to scoop them up and cuddle with them!

Snug ORGANICS Sleepers are free of pesticides, synthetics and flame retardant chemicals. A natural vanilla dye-less shell is paired with brightly flavored trim, colored with low impact dyes. Snug ORGANIC Sherpa Sleepers are designed without feet for a more perfect fit and more room for quick growing kids. Available from sizes 0- 4T.  Nicholas loves his and he’s at a tough age, stating exactly what he likes and dislikes.  I am thrilled and relieved to report he asks to wear his ”monkey” pj’s as he calls them.

Snug ORGANIC Sherpa sleepers are constructed with certified 100% organic cotton Sherpa which is similar to fleece, but is antimicrobial, breathable and sustainable. Babies and toddlers will sleep comfortably through the night in this breathable fabric.

Snug ORGANICS pj’s haven’t been treated with PBDEs, pesticides, insecticides or other harmful chemicals that can effect your child’s health. Snug Organics sells amazingly soft and snugly Organic Sherpa zip up Sleepers in sizes newborn up to 4T. They come in 4 colors: blueberry, chocolate, green apple and mango.  Make sure to read the care instructions.  :-)

Snug ORGANICS also has an amazing page about Eco Baby Showers. They have tons of information, games, invitations, and suggestions. So if you are planning a baby shower for someone special, be sure to check it out! Very creative ideas for the aspiring new mom!
