My husband has turned us into some hiking fools lately!  Once he puts his mind to something, he’s relentless, simply meaning that at least one day per weekend, all five of us are out in the wilderness!  Of course I’m not complaining, anything that gives the boys exercise, fresh air, and quality time with mom and dad is #1 in my book, and NC is full of the best trails, mountains, and gorgeous landscapes around, so basically it’s a good thing my husband is stubborn when it comes to his new hiking adventures.  Plus, we have all the gear to make it a smooth, easy, and fun excursion with the kids!

C and T can walk right along with us {well, C trails behind for the most part, his little legs are still growing, but we’re patient with him, we have all the time in the world on our day trips}; Aidan on the other hand would love to run along with us but unfortunately, at 17 months, he just falls flat on his face most of the time…or wanders in the woods, or eats rocks…so, courteous of Sherpani and their Rumba Superlight Baby Carrier sample, carrying him for miles on our backs is easy!  My husband was the first to try the carrier out, we did about 5 miles that day, and I continued to ask him his opinion on the carrier.  He was comfortable, no aches in his back {Sherpani named this one perfectly…it’s VERY superlight}, it sat perfectly on him not hunching him over, Aidan’s weight was perfectly proportioned.  No complaints from Aidan either, you know a 17 month old does not like to be tied down in a carrier, but he was also comfortable and content, positioned high enough to see over Dad’s head, and secure as can be!  For any outdoor {or indoor} activity your family has, this carrier will be a “back” life saver!  Lovin’ the sunshade too!  Since Aidan WILL NOT wear a hat, this helped keep the sun out of his face and off his pale head.  My husband’s one and only recommendation for this Sherpani carrier, a crumb catching tray {kidding…but seriously, Aidan enjoyed his granola bar a little too much, most of the crumbs went down daddy’s shirt, it’s hard to eat and hike Dad!}
