Ufadili {GIVEAWAY}

MamaLuxe Edition

Wear:  Clothing is mandatory {almost everywhere} in our society and a big chunk of our hard earned money is spent on looking and feeling good with the clothes we purchase.  Staying in style in this modern age can be difficult for kids, and of course adults, but…that’s why you read with us!!  This next company offers women and children clothing {kill 2 birds with 1 stone…HA, that’s a horrible saying by the way, looks so much worse when you type it, so scratch that…”accomplish shopping for mom and shopping for kid all in one place”, there, better}; Ufadili has shown me that I look AWESOME in purple!  For girls, boys, and women; tees, onesies, and raglans, flip-flops {100% cotton, with a bunch of gorgeous colors to pick from, including picking your own special design to “learn” from…we’ll talk more about that later…}, AND packaged so brilliantly, I’m a sucker for good quality packaging since there’s always a gift to be given to someone.  This is good quality clothing with a purpose besides keeping your family un-naked.

Learn:  Ufadili, a Swahili word meaning “kindheartedness, goodwill”, is a company striving to not just put clothes on your back, they’ve found a way to make it educational as well.  Each piece comes with a Giving Tag.  The learning side teaches your child {or yourself} the design’s name in 5 different languages.  For example, the shirt below has a Monkey on it, Monkey in French is “singe”, in Swahili it’s “tumbili” as it says on the shirt.  Your Giving Tag also teaches you how to say your design in Italian and Spanish.  ALSO, each comes with a “Did you know fact” about your design.  Such a small way to make a huge impact on the education of the recipients of Ufadili clothing.  That extra little step at making their product stand out, will keep consumers coming back for more!

Give:  To top it all off, Ufadili gives a GENEROUS 30% of it’s profits to several charities including Heifer International and WildAid.  Read more about the organizations they support on your Giving Tag or here.

If you have not guessed, the tagline for Ufadili is wear. learn. give.  What other clothing designers do you know that can educate your children while keeping them looking cool PLUS giving you piece of mind that a good portion of your purchase money is going towards a worthly cause?  NOT MANY!

Talk about generous…Ufadili wants to give one of our readers a product of their choice!  You pick any item on their site and let us know what it is!!  For an added comment, extra entry, let us know what you’ve learned from their site while over there {something about one of the charities, a new word from the Giving Tags, etc…}.  Good luck to all!!  Contest ends in one week!}
