A few weeks ago, Dana and I attended our first “All About Baby” event here in Charlotte, where we displayed and demonstrated many of the fabulous products that we’ve written about here on BabyLuxe. Today’s product review had to have been the biggest hit at the event: the Belly Fish!

I thought it would be a lot more difficult to put together a gender neutral nursery with a little flair. Given today’s yellow and green neutral world, I asked myself, what in the world could I put together that would be fun and happy for a baby but not your run of the mill unisex room? So, I searched and searched and settled on giraffes. I know, you’re thinking, okay, giraffes are pretty common right? I thought so too, until I came across Space Monkey paintings! Yes, I’m doing the typical sage color room with lemon (notice, not green and yellow!) accents, but I have fun giraffes now with floppy ears and smiling cartoon faces and even pudgy cheeks.

My little one is going to be awe-struck by the bright giraffe colors and the soothing greens and yellows in this canvas painting.
