Yummy In My Tummy

One of my goals with baby #3 was to make my own baby food…I started with baby #2 and did pretty well so why not continue with little A…HA, who was I kidding. Three kids is tough, I don’t find the time to pee and shower myself let alone make weeks worth of baby food! I tried and succeeded with the easy stuff but A got sick of pureed bananas and apples pretty quickly! I have the secret for all you moms who WANT the natural, yummy baby food for your babies but don’t have the time to make it yourself {and for those of you that do have the time, please tell me your secret…}; Yummy In My Tummy, you know you will never forget that name!

Owners, Michael and Karen, their fabulous rep Yaffa, and the chef behind it all, James, sent our youngest an AMAZING assortment of Yummy In My Tummy foods for his ever growing appetite! With Stages ranging from 1-3 similar in size and price to the bland baby foods you find in local retailers {but so not similar in taste!}, A tried them all…enjoyed every last nibble…with no complaints! {And yes, he may not be 1 yet, and no words, but complain he does…this food did not make it on the floor, or the glass window near his chair, or shoved under and in his pants like steamed broccoli sure does} I must admit to “trying” a few myself to give you my most honest impression and these little creations of food combinations are sure tasty {from a pureed stand point of course}.

Stork Snapshots {Giveaway}

OK all you Chicagoland mommies, today’s post is for you!

Although this is my third pregnancy I had still never experienced a 4D ultrasound. Of course I had seen pictures online and had an idea how detailed they were but I was not prepared for how emotional and wonderful it would be to see my own baby on a 4D screen. Stork Snapshots in Naperville, IL provided our family this priceless experience, however 4D ultrasound is only one of the services offered at “Chicagoland’s Ultimate Maternity Destination -ultrasound, maternity spa and boutique.”

First of all, you really need to “read the menu” before making an appointment at Stork Snapshots. They have so many different ultrasound options to choose from. Two examples for new parents are the gender determination ultrasound or a premium 3D or 4D ultrasound which can be upgraded to include a DVD {which by the way is set to music and just beautiful to watch and show friends and family}. All ultrasounds are up to 30 minutes in length and each mommy can have up to 2 ultrasounds from 20 weeks until delivery. Sometimes baby may not corporate with the ultrasound. If this is the case, the ultrasound may be rescheduled to another day at no additional cost.

Another great service provided by Stork Snapshots are their spa services! At The Stork Spa, there are numerous massages available for before and after baby as well as facial services. They use wonderful products like Mama Mio {a Babyluxe favorite} and OSEA the 100% natural facial line. Many of these products are also available for purchase to take home as well!
